This involves taking a 3hour long exam that comprises of 175 multiple choice questions. The exam covers various fields in human resources management to test the ability of the candidate and the knowledge of the candidate on the various aspects of human resources management. If one passes this exam they are certified and they become a professional in human resources management.
Why become PHR Certified?
It does not matter how you phrase the question. The point still remains that many people do not want to take this PHR exam and so they will always ask if it is important. Well, one only needs to look at the current economic situation that has become the representation of the times that we live in and they will see that being PHR certified offers one a lot of benefits. In the case of human resources management, it will therefore make sense that employers will pay professionals higher than they will pay the non-professional counterpart who also work in the human resources management department.
Better Resume: No one can argue with the fact that among other things one of the most important factor that adds colour to one's resume is their qualification. And being a professional in human resources will no doubt be a good boost to anyone's resume.
