THE 3 WEEKS STUDY PLAN FOR GOOGLE ANALYTICS CERTIFICATION

Have you repeatedly heard people talk about them being Google Analytics certified? Have you considered being certified yourself? Well, if this is you then you will want to read this article through as in this article we shall be looking at the 3 weeks study plan for Google Analytics Certification. That is a study plan for 3 weeks that ends with you passing the GAIQ by the end of the 3rd week and a consequent certification following. First you need to be confident that this will work for you. You don't need to go and say no, I can't do this, 3 weeks is too short a time to get ready and prepare for a test. You don't need to go and say I don't even know anything about Google Analytics so there is no way this is going to work, No! You shouldn't say any of these things. You need to be confident and just be sure to follow this study plan and what you should do each week and you can be sure that you will be fine. You must know that it doesn't take only the best brains to do well in an exam, it also takes proper preparation and in this case of the GAIQ test, the latter can get you as much result as the former.

Week One

Welcome to week one. This week is also referred to as the preparatory week. What you shall do this week is to get yourself acquainted with the Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ) test. These are the points that you shall be taking note of in this week and you shall also be doing these things.

  • Know about the GAIQ test: The GAIQ test is a 90minutes test that must be completed within 48hours of beginning the test. In order words, you can pause the test to continue later but you must exhaust your 90 minutes within 48hours and complete the test. The test comprises of 70 questions consisting of both true and false type questions and multiple choice questions. At the end of the test your results would be calculated and a score of 56 (80%) or above is a pass mark and if you pass as you should, you will be certified in Google Analytics.

  • Set Your Goals: Now you will pick a score or percent here that you aim to achieve both in the course of preparation and also in the real test. Say for example your goal is to get 85% or maybe a score of 60. Whichever you decide it must be higher than the pass mark [56(80%)] so that should you not attain it you will still attain a high enough score to pass.

  • Get your preparatory materials ready: There are two major materials that you shall be using to prepare for the test. The first is the Google Analytics IQ Lessons. It is a set of video lessons and you must watch it all and take notes. The other material is the Slingshot SEO which contains test questions that you must download and study intently. You can also search for other test questions and get as much as you can. You must try to meet your goal as you set above. The reason for this is that these tests are usually more difficult than the real one, so the higher you aim with your goal the better.

Week Two

You are welcome to week two. This is your study week and what you shall do in this week is to study. You shall study all materials front to back and back to front. No missing of study schedules. You shall acquaint yourselves with as much past questions as you can as well as with the video lessons. You should also go through all the notes and important points that you noted during the lessons.

  • Acquaint yourselves with the test questions: You shall do this by trying them repeatedly and ensuring you are improving with each trial.

Week Three

Welcome to Week Three. This is the finalising prep week and Success week because this is the week that you shall become certified. In this week, your plan is simple:

  • Calm down your Nerves: As the test day approaches there is no doubt that you shall start feeling a little nervous; you will need to calm your nerves down by being positive at all times.

  • General Revision: Keep revising notes and test questions.

  • Test Day: Pay for the test, begin the test, walk with time and after 90 minutes wait for your congratulatory message confirming that you are now Google Analytics Certified with the new logo to add to your résumé.
